Billy Bob's Texas in Fort Worth is a country music venue known for its lively ambiance, live entertainment, and Bull Riding contests. Located in the heart of the Fort Worth Stockyards, this venue features over 100,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space and can accommodate up to 6,000 people. The establishment was founded in 1981 by developer Billy Bob Barnett and quickly grew in popularity, attracting some of the biggest names in country music such as Willie Nelson, Garth Brooks, and Johnny Cash. The venue's stage also hosted other genres of music such as rock and pop, as well as cultural events like rodeos and dance competitions.
The Bull Riding arena spans over 15,000 square feet and is home to some of the top Bull Riding contests in the world. Visitors can watch skilled cowboys join the Bull Riding challenge six nights a week, or even take part in it themselves during amateur contests on Fridays. Billy Bob's Texas also offers a range of dining options including BBQ, Tex-Mex, and seafood dishes, as well as western-themed merchandise at its gift shop.
