The Buffalo Zoo is a popular attraction for visitors to Buffalo, New York. Founded in 1875, it is one of the country's oldest zoological parks, home to over 1,200 animals representing over 100 species. The zoo is located in Delaware Park, a 350-acre urban oasis designed by the same landscape architect who designed New York City's Central Park.

One of the most popular exhibits at the Buffalo Zoo is Rainforest Falls, a lush replica of a tropical river valley that houses a variety of animals from South America and Africa, including monkeys, turtles, tropical birds, and reptiles. Visitors can also see polar bears, Arctic wolves, and Canadian lynx in the Arctic Edge exhibit, which features realistic habitats designed to mimic the Arctic tundra.

Another must-see exhibit is the Vanishing Animals exhibit, which showcases endangered and threatened species like the Amur leopard, red pandas, and western lowland gorillas.

In addition to its animal exhibits, the Buffalo Zoo offers a variety of educational programs for visitors of all ages, including guided tours, animal encounters, and summer camps. The zoo also hosts special events throughout the year, like ZooBrew, an evening of craft beer and local food, and Boo at the Zoo, a family-friendly Halloween celebration.
