Port Vell is a historic harbor located in the heart of Barcelona, Spain. It was founded in the 15th century and used to be one of the busiest ports in Europe. In the late 20th century, the port underwent a massive redevelopment project and was transformed into one of the city's most popular tourist destinations.

Today, Port Vell is home to a wide range of attractions, including the Maremagnum shopping center, the Barcelona Aquarium, and the IMAX Port Vell cinema. The harbor is also a popular spot for boat trips, with various companies offering everything from kayak and paddleboard rentals to luxury yacht charters.

One of the most interesting features of Port Vell is its famous Columbus Monument, which stands at the foot of La Rambla. The monument is dedicated to Christopher Columbus and commemorates his first voyage to the Americas. Visitors can take a panoramic lift to the top of the monument for stunning views over the port and the city.

Another highlight of Port Vell is La Rambla de Mar, a pedestrian bridge that connects the harbor to the nearby Maremagnum shopping center. The bridge offers gorgeous views of the Mediterranean Sea and is home to several restaurants and bars where visitors can enjoy a meal or a drink while taking in the scenery.
