Milwaukee, located on the western shore of Lake Michigan, is the largest city in the state of Wisconsin with a rich history dating back to the 17th century. Founded by the French in 1763, it was later taken over by the British and became a part of the U.S. in 1846. It is widely known as the 'Brew City' or 'Cream City' due to its large beer-brewing industry.

One interesting fact about Milwaukee is that it is the birthplace of Harley-Davidson motorcycles. The first Harley-Davidson was built in a small workshop in Milwaukee in 1903.
