Woodbridge is a charming town located in the beautiful county of Suffolk in East Anglia in the United Kingdom. Woodbridge was originally listed in the Domesday book and has been a significant town throughout English history.
One of the most striking historical sites that Woodbridge has to offer is the Sutton Hoo. This ancient Anglo-Saxon burial site is located only 6 miles from the town center and dates back to the 7th century AD. It is believed that this burial site is for a king, and many valuable artifacts were found, including the iconic Sutton Hoo helmet. The site is now an exhibit at the British Museum in London, but visitors can still visit this ancient wonder.
