Gorzów Wielkopolski, also known as Gorzów, is a city located in western Poland. The city is situated on the Warta River and has a population of approximately 120,000 people. The origins of the city can be traced back to the 13th century when it was founded by the Knights Templar. Throughout its history, Gorzów has been a part of various states such as the Kingdom of Poland, Prussia, Germany, and finally, Poland. Gorzów is known for its beautiful parks and green spaces, the most popular of which is Park Miejski. This park occupies an area of over 52 hectares and is home to numerous walking and cycling paths, playgrounds, and a small lake.
