Virginia State University
Virginia State University (VSU) is a historically black university located in Petersburg, Virginia, USA. Founded in 1882, it is the oldest continuously operating historically black college or university in Virginia. The campus covers over 200 acres and includes a number of historic buildings, including the former home of Virginia Governor William Hodges Mann. VSU is home to a number of academic programs, including business, engineering, and agriculture. Visitors to the campus can enjoy its beautiful grounds and historic buildings, attend cultural events and performances, and learn about the university's history and contributions to higher education in the United States.
