Salt Palace Convention Center is a modern and spacious convention center located in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. The center spans over 700,000 square feet and hosts a variety of conventions, trade shows, and events throughout the year. The original Salt Palace was built in 1899 as a celebration of Utah's statehood and its success as a mining and agricultural center. It was demolished in 1969 and replaced by the current Salt Palace Convention Center, which opened its doors in 1996.
