Marion Koogler McNay Art Museum

The Marion Koogler McNay Art Museum is a museum of modern and contemporary art located in San Antonio, Texas. It was founded in 1954 by Marion Koogler McNay, an art collector and philanthropist, who left her estate and art collection to the museum upon her death. The museum's collection includes over 20,000 works of art, including paintings, sculptures, photographs, and decorative arts. Notable artists represented in the collection include Pablo Picasso, Diego Rivera, Georgia O'Keeffe, and Edward Hopper. The museum is housed in a Spanish Colonial Revival-style mansion that was designed by architect Atlee B. Ayres and completed in 1929. Its beautiful grounds feature outdoor sculptures and a Spanish-inspired courtyard.
