Firestone Country Club is a private golf club located in Akron, Ohio, and has hosted many major professional golf tournaments. It was established in 1929 by Harvey Firestone, the founder of the Firestone Tire and Rubber Company. The club has three 18-hole golf courses, the North, South, and West Courses, all designed by famous golf course architect Robert Trent Jones. The club has hosted three PGA Championships, two World Golf Championships, and the American Golf Classic. It is also the current home of the Bridgestone Senior Players Championship.
