Pease Golf Course is a 27-hole public golf course located in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The course was originally built in 1956 as a nine-hole course for the Pease Air Force Base, which was a Strategic Air Command bomber base during the Cold War. The course was expanded to 18 holes in 1960 and further expanded to 27 holes in 1989. Today, the course is open to the public and offers a unique opportunity to play on a former military base.
