Glacier National Park is a 1,583-square-mile wilderness area located in the Rocky Mountains of Montana, USA. It is known for its stunning mountain scenery, alpine lakes, and diverse wildlife, including grizzly bears, moose, and mountain goats. The park is home to the Going-to-the-Sun Road, a scenic drive that winds through the park and provides access to some of its most beautiful viewpoints. The park also offers numerous hiking trails, ranging from easy strolls to challenging backcountry treks. Glacier National Park was established in 1910 and is part of the larger Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that straddles the border between the United States and Canada.
