The Dome at America's Center

The Dome at America's Center is a multi-purpose stadium located in downtown St. Louis, Missouri. It was built in 1995 and served as the home of the NFL's St. Louis Rams until they moved to Los Angeles in 2016. The Dome covers over 5.5 acres and has a seating capacity of more than 66,000. It features a retractable roof that can open and close in just 12 minutes, making it a versatile venue for indoor and outdoor events. The stadium's design is unique, with a distinctive roof shape that resembles the outline of a spaceship. In addition to hosting major events, The Dome features interactive exhibits that celebrate St. Louis sports history. The St. Louis Sports Hall of Fame, located on the north side of the stadium, displays memorabilia from all of the city's professional sports teams as well as local high schools and colleges. Visitors can also participate in virtual reality experiences that place them in the middle of exciting sports moments. If you're planning a visit to The Dome, be sure to check the schedule of events to see what's happening during your trip. While the stadium no longer hosts NFL games, it continues to welcome college sports tournaments, concerts, and other shows. Since the stadium is located in downtown St. Louis, there are plenty of restaurants and hotels nearby for visitors to enjoy.
