The resort boasts 2,965 acres of skiable terrain and receives an average of 349 inches of snowfall annually. In addition to its excellent winter sports offerings, Steamboat Ski Resort is also home to several restaurants, shops, and spas, making it a great destination for non-skiers as well. The resort is also known for its unique cowboy culture, with ski instructors often wearing cowboy hats and a weekly event called the "Bud Light Cowboy Downhill" where skiers dress in cowboy attire and race down the mountain.
