Garvan Woodland Gardens is a stunning botanical garden located in Hot Springs, Arkansas. It spans over a 210-acre area and features various natural beauty spots such as a herd of wild deer along with walking and biking trails, a rose garden, a waterfall, and a variety of exotic plants. The woodlands are primarily located just atop a rocky gorge, which is approximately 350 feet above a picturesque lake and surrounded by the Ouachita Mountains.

The history of the gardens dates back to 1956 when the garden was founded by Verna Cook Garvan, an Arkansas native. Since then, additional gardens and displays have been added, including a Japanese garden, a meditation garden, and a herb garden. Garvan Woodland Gardens is a popular location for weddings, picnics, and hiking, and its serene setting makes it a great place for tourists of all ages to relax, unwind, and connect with nature. It is also considered one of the most beautiful botanical gardens in the United States, receiving numerous accolades, including being rated the fourth-best botanical garden in North America by USA Today.
